I’m originally from the U.S, I have lived in Greece for most of my life.Growing up in a Greek family, with both parents being Greek, I was immersed in the Greek language and the Greek culture since birth.
Therefore, I know exactly what it takes to become bilingual.
Being a native speaker in both languages can powerfully help students understand more than just the language.
I can provide authentic models of pronunciation, intonation and colloquial expressions which are crucial for developing fluency.
I believe that learning your parents’, grandparents’ native language is essential for ensuring the continuation and transmission of culture, customs and history.
Being able to communicate with your Greek relatives, friends, your Greek spouse, girlfriend or boyfriend will make you feel proud of yourself and will also help you relate to your/their roots, ancestors and traditions.
